Description
A fine antique English pewter 1 pint tankard with ‘U’ shaped drum on a flared foot and decorative fillets; by John Curruthers Crane of Bewdley. The tankard has a double scroll handle with fish tail terminal.Good George 1V Imperial Standard stamp to the front, along with makers marks to the rim. There are no verification marks.
The inside base also carries a ‘Crowned X’ makers ‘ICC’ mark and the word ‘Bewdley’
The tankard is in excellent condition with a silver grey finish, there are very few signs of use and the condition could be described as almost perfect. There are no repairs or damage.
