Description
Antique English pewter half pint measure by John Abbot of Gateshead. A very solid and well made measure.There is a ‘1/2 PINT’ capacity label to the front of the rim, there are no verification marks.
The inside base has the Abbot mark within two circles.
The front of the measure is engraved with the initials ‘JB’.
The measure is in good condition with signs of use, it retains a natural silver grey patina.
Circa 1860.

Base diameter: 3.15in (8.0cm).
Rim Diameter: 2.75in (7.0cm)
